Along the way, the itinerary reveals a remarkable range of experiences: medieval university cities, Roman archaeological treasures, Moorish masterpieces, atmospheric Jewish quarters, relaxed Mediterranean coastlines, and vividly alive Moroccan medinas. Day 1 | Madrid → Salamanca → Porto (560 km | 348 miles)

We begin our journey early this morning, departing Madrid at approximately 8:00 a.m. and heading northwest through Spain’s open countryside. As we travel, the landscape gradually shifts into rolling plains dotted with historic towns, setting the tone for the cultural discoveries ahead.
Our first stop is Salamanca, one of Spain’s most beautiful and intellectually prestigious cities. Home to one of Europe’s oldest universities, Salamanca is renowned for its golden sandstone buildings that seem to glow in the sunlight. During our free time, we stroll through the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with monumental university buildings, cathedrals, and lively streets. At the heart of the city lies the magnificent Plaza Mayor, a Baroque masterpiece often considered the finest main square in Spain. Surrounded by elegant arcades and cafés, it’s a perfect place to pause, take photos, and soak in the local atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we continue west, crossing into Portugal and traveling toward the scenic Douro River. By early evening, we arrive in Porto, a charming riverside city known for its colorful architecture and relaxed pace. Overnight in Porto.

Day 2 | Porto

After breakfast, we set out together on a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage City celebrated for its history, charm, and deep-rooted wine culture. As we explore the historic center, we visit Porto Cathedral, perched above the river, and admire sweeping views over the Douro. We continue to the elegant Stock Exchange Palace (Palácio da Bolsa), known for its grand halls and ornate interiors, and then to the richly decorated Church of Santa Clara, a remarkable example of Portuguese religious art. Our tour concludes with a visit to a traditional Port wine cellar, where we learn about the production of Porto’s world-famous fortified wine and enjoy a tasting - an essential part of understanding the city’s heritage.
The rest of the day is free. We can wander along the lively Ribeira riverfront, browse local shops, cross one of Porto’s iconic bridges, or relax at a café by the water. Overnight in Porto.

Day 3 | Porto → Coimbra → Fátima → Lisbon (338 km | 210 miles)

This morning, we travel south to Coimbra, one of Portugal’s most important cultural and academic centers. Home to one of Europe’s oldest universities, Coimbra blends centuries-old tradition with vibrant student life. During our free time, we explore the historic streets and university surroundings, taking in viewpoints and landmarks that reflect the city’s scholarly past. Coimbra is also closely linked to traditional Portuguese fado, lending the city a distinct emotional depth.
We then continue to Fátima, one of the world’s most significant Catholic pilgrimage destinations. Here, we have time to visit the Sanctuary and Basilica of Our Lady of Fátima, experiencing the calm and reflective atmosphere that draws pilgrims from around the globe.
Later in the afternoon, we arrive in Lisbon, Portugal’s dynamic capital city, spread across seven hills overlooking the Tagus River. Overnight in Lisbon. In the evening, those who wish may attend an optional fado music performance, a moving introduction to Portugal’s most iconic musical tradition.

Day 4 | Lisbon

Today is dedicated to discovering Lisbon, one of Europe’s most atmospheric capitals. We begin with a panoramic tour, enjoying scenic viewpoints and exploring key landmarks such as Eduardo VII Park, Rossio Square, and Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon’s grand boulevard lined with elegant buildings and shops. We pass through the Madragoa district, a traditional neighborhood closely associated with the origins of fado music, offering a glimpse into Lisbon’s everyday life. Our tour continues to the historic Belém district, deeply connected to Portugal’s Age of Discovery. Here, we see the iconic Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and the magnificent Jerónimos Monastery, one of the country’s most important architectural treasures.
The afternoon is free. We may choose to further explore Lisbon independently or join an optional excursion to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril, featuring fairytale palaces, dramatic coastline, and elegant seaside towns. Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 5 | Lisbon → Mérida → Seville (480 km | 298 miles)

After breakfast, we cross back into Spain and travel eastward toward Mérida, once the capital of Roman Lusitania. Today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mérida is home to some of the best-preserved Roman monuments in Europe. We enjoy free time to explore its outstanding archaeological complex, including the impressive Roman Theatre and Amphitheater, built nearly 2,000 years ago and still remarkably intact. Walking through these ruins offers a vivid sense of daily life during the Roman Empire.
Lunch is on our own before we continue south along the historic Silver Route, once used by Roman legions and traders. By evening, we arrive in Seville, Andalusia’s elegant and passionate capital. Dinner and overnight in Seville.

Day 6 | Seville (local touring)

After breakfast, we set out on a guided tour of Seville, a city celebrated for its rich history, beautiful architecture, and vibrant spirit. We begin in María Luisa Park, a green oasis filled with fountains and shaded walkways, and then step into the spectacular Plaza de España, a grand semicircular plaza adorned with bridges, canals, and colorful ceramic tiles representing Spain’s provinces. We see the exterior of Seville Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, and admire its iconic bell tower, the Giralda, originally built as a Moorish minaret. We then wander through the charming Barrio Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter, where narrow lanes, whitewashed houses, and hidden plazas create a romantic, atmospheric setting.
The afternoon is free. Optional activities include a Guadalquivir River cruise, a visit to the historic Maestranza bullring, or an evening flamenco show. Lunch is on our own. Overnight in Seville.

Day 7 | Seville → Córdoba (145 km | 90 miles)

This morning, we leave Seville behind and travel east through the fertile Andalusian countryside toward Córdoba, once the brilliant capital of Moorish Spain and one of the most culturally significant cities in Europe. Along the way, the landscape of olive groves and flat plains gives a sense of the region’s agricultural heritage. Upon arrival, we begin a guided walking tour at the Puerta de Almodóvar, one of the best-preserved gates of the old city walls. From here, we step into the atmospheric Jewish Quarter, a maze of narrow, whitewashed streets decorated with flower-filled patios and historic buildings. As we wander, we discover traces of Córdoba’s Jewish, Christian, and Muslim past woven seamlessly together. The highlight of the day is our guided interior visit to the Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba, one of the most extraordinary religious monuments in the world. Inside, we walk beneath a mesmerizing forest of red-and-white striped arches - an iconic masterpiece of Islamic architecture later transformed into a Christian cathedral. The contrast of styles tells a powerful story of centuries of coexistence and change.
After the tour, we have free time to explore at our own pace - perhaps enjoying a quiet plaza, visiting small shops, or relaxing at a café. Dinner and overnight in Córdoba.

Day 8 | Córdoba → Ronda → Costa del Sol (322 km | 200 miles)

After breakfast, we depart Córdoba and journey through the heart of Andalusia along the scenic White Villages Route. Rolling hills, olive groves, and hilltop towns accompany us as we make our way deeper into southern Spain’s countryside.
Our destination is Ronda, one of Andalusia’s most dramatic and unforgettable towns. Perched high above a deep gorge carved by the Guadalevín River, Ronda offers breathtaking views in every direction. During our free time, we explore the historic center, stroll through picturesque streets, and admire the iconic Puente Nuevo, which spans the El Tajo canyon and connects the old and new parts of the town.
After soaking in the scenery and atmosphere, we continue south toward the Costa del Sol, Spain’s famous Mediterranean coastline. Known for its beaches, palm-lined promenades, and relaxed lifestyle, the coast provides a perfect contrast to the historic cities we’ve explored. Dinner and overnight on the Costa del Sol.

Day 9 | Costa del Sol → Tangier → Asilah → Rabat (480 km | 298 miles, ferry)

Today marks a truly special transition as we leave Europe behind and cross into Africa. After breakfast, we travel to the port and board the ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar, a short but unforgettable journey connecting two continents.
We arrive in Tangier, Morocco’s gateway city, where African, Arab, and European influences blend seamlessly. The atmosphere immediately feels different - new colors, sounds, and aromas welcome us into Morocco.
Continuing south along the Atlantic coast, we reach Asilah, a charming seaside town known for its whitewashed walls, blue accents, and artistic spirit. Here, we stop for lunch on our own and enjoy free time to stroll through the quiet streets, walk along the seaside ramparts, or simply relax and take in the coastal scenery.
In the afternoon, we proceed to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital and one of its most elegant cities. Dinner and overnight in Rabat.

Day 10 | Rabat → Fez (210 km | 131 miles)

This morning, we explore Rabat, a city distinguished by its calm elegance and well-kept historic sites. Our visits include the impressive Hassan Tower, an unfinished 12th-century minaret standing amid the remains of a once-ambitious mosque, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a beautifully crafted monument guarded by ceremonial royal cavalry.
After our visit, we travel inland toward Fez, Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual capital. Upon arrival, our exploration begins with a panoramic view of the impressive Royal Palace gates, adorned with ornate brass doors and tilework. We then enter the UNESCO-listed medina of Fez el-Bali, one of the world’s largest and oldest medieval cities. Walking from Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine Square, we immerse ourselves in a living museum of daily life. Along the way, we encounter ancient madrasas, bustling artisan quarters, leather tanneries using traditional methods, copper workshops, and vibrant markets that operate much as they have for centuries.
Lunch is included at a traditional local restaurant inside the medina. Overnight in Fez.

Day 11 | Fez → Chefchaouen → Tangier (310 km | 193 miles)

After breakfast, we leave Fez behind and travel north through the rolling foothills of the Rif Mountains, enjoying changing scenery as the landscape becomes greener and more rugged. Our destination is Chefchaouen, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco. Nestled into the mountains, Chefchaouen is instantly recognizable for its blue-washed buildings, winding lanes, and relaxed, almost dreamlike atmosphere. During our free time, we wander through its narrow alleys, where every turn reveals a new photo opportunity - arched doorways, colorful flower pots, handcrafted textiles, and quiet corners that invite you to slow down and take it all in. You may choose to relax with a coffee in the central square, browse small artisan shops, or simply enjoy the peaceful setting that sets Chefchaouen apart from Morocco’s larger cities.
In the afternoon, we continue north toward Tangier, Morocco’s historic gateway between Africa and Europe. After arrival and check-in, we enjoy dinner and settle in for an overnight stay in Tangier.

Day 12 | Tangier → Costa del Sol (230 km | 143 miles, ferry)

After breakfast, we enjoy some free time in Tangier for a final stroll through the city or last-minute shopping in the souks. It’s a chance to soak up the atmosphere one last time - whether along the waterfront, in a café overlooking the strait, or through the city’s historic streets.
Later, we head to the port and board the ferry for our crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar. This short but memorable journey offers views
of both Africa and Europe, a fitting conclusion to our time in Morocco. Upon arrival in
Spain, we continue by coach along the coast to the Costa del Sol, returning to familiar Mediterranean scenery. Dinner and overnight on the Costa del Sol.

Day 13 | Costa del Sol → Granada (180 km | 112 miles)

After breakfast, we leave the coastline behind and travel inland through Andalusia toward Granada, a city where Moorish heritage, Spanish culture, and dramatic natural scenery come together beautifully. As the road climbs gently, the Sierra Nevada mountains begin to frame the horizon, hinting at Granada’s striking setting. Upon arrival, we enjoy a guided visit to the extraordinary Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s greatest architectural achievements. We explore ornate palace halls adorned with intricate carvings, tranquil courtyards centered around flowing fountains, and lush gardens designed as royal retreats. The harmony between architecture, water, and landscape makes this visit one of the most memorable highlights of the journey. Dinner and overnight in Granada.
In the evening, those who wish may attend an optional
zambra flamenco performance in the Sacromonte caves, offering an authentic glimpse into Andalusian flamenco traditions in a unique setting.

Day 14 | Granada → Toledo → Madrid (446 km | 277 miles)

On our final day, we travel north toward Toledo, Spain’s former imperial capital and one of its most historically important cities. Perched above the Tagus River, Toledo is known as the City of Three Cultures, where Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities once lived side by side. Lunch is included, followed by a stop at the Valley Viewpoint, where we take in sweeping panoramic views of Toledo’s dramatic skyline - a perfect moment for photos and reflection. We then enjoy a guided walking tour through the atmospheric old town, exploring medieval streets, historic synagogues, churches, and centuries-old monuments that reveal the layers of Spain’s past.
In the afternoon, we continue to Madrid, where our remarkable journey through Spain, Portugal, and Morocco comes to a close - leaving us with lasting memories of diverse cultures, landscapes, and unforgettable experiences.

Here you will find commonly asked questions regarding our tours.

1. Are the tours for individuals, families, or small groups of friends?

- Yes. Our tours are for single travelers, couples, families, and groups of friends whom we put together with other travelers to form a larger group.

2. How many people are normally included on a tour?

We cannot guarantee an exact number per tour. Normally, it ranges from 10 to 25 people per group, but these numbers can vary greatly depending on the time of year. In summer, groups tend to be larger as this is a popular time of year, while the winter season usually attracts fewer people, thus smaller groups are formed. There are certain tours that combine travelers if the destinations follow the same routes; e.g., you may be on a 10-day tour package with companions traveling on a 5-day package. The tour will cover the same areas, and the 5-day package guests will break off thereafter. Also, more people may be joining in for the other part of the package.

3. Is there a guide or tour leader on the bus?

- Yes. An accompanying guide (tour leader) always travels with the group during the entire tour. An exception may occur when there are minimal numbers signed up for a particular tour. These small groups will travel with an experienced, English-speaking driver-guide. In all major cities, we use local professionals and licensed guides.

4. What languages do the guides use?

English and Spanish. All our tour guides speak both languages fluently. If a tour group consists of an English-speaking group only, the tour will run in English. But most of the tours will have both English and Spanish (from Latin America and Central America) passengers, so the guides will explain in both languages.

5. Do your tours run during certain times of the year?

Most of our tours run all year. Some tours, e.g., those running to the northern regions of Spain, only run from March until October. Each tour's description provides all the relevant information needed. For example, ''Sundays all year'' means that a tour will start on every Sunday of the year, regardless of the numbers. Just look up the calendar for the specific dates Sundays are falling on, and make sure you arrive in Spain a day before.

6. What cities do the tours start from?

Tours start in Madrid or Barcelona.

7. Where are the meeting points for the tours?

In Madrid, it is Calle Ferraz 3 (Ferraz Str., 3). This meeting point is in the city center, right off Plaza España.

In Barcelona, it is in the reception of the Hotel ''Catalunya Barcelona 505'' (Carrer de Muntaner, 505, 08022, Barcelona).

8. Do you pick them up from the hotels on the first day of the tour?

By default, no. We do not pick up from hotels because that would delay the tour launch time. However, if your hotel is en route, using the same bus route on launch day, we will pick you up. A week before travel, we require the name of your hotel in Madrid and will inform you if you can be picked up directly from your hotel or need to head over to the meeting point at 7.45 a.m.

In Barcelona, the meeting point is always in the reception of the ''Catalunya Barcelona 505'' hotel.

9. What type of vehicles do you use?

We use buses for larger groups and minibuses for smaller ones. Vehicles are comfortable, modern, and equipped with air conditioning.

10. If there is Wi-Fi on your buses,?

There is Wi-Fi on all our buses in Spain and Portugal. But please keep in mind that sometimes during the transfers between the cities, the Wi-Fi signal can be weak or intermitting due to poor coverage from the main operators. Please do not expect very high Internet speed (to download or stream movies during the transfers).

11. Are meals included?

Buffet breakfasts with all the drinks are included every morning in all hotels our guests occupy during their tour.

Lunches and dinners are included anywhere that's mentioned in the itinerary (sections ''Itinerary'' and ''Included in Tour''). Normally, dinners are held in the hotel's restaurants, but many times they will be buffet (''eat as much as you want''), and only drinks will be at an extra cost. Also, sometimes lunches and dinners will be held in the restaurants.

12. If I am a vegetarian or allergic to certain products, is there any problem?

No problems at all. Inform the tour leader, and he will assist you. On a side note, many dinners are buffet-type, so you can simply choose what you prefer. For those with allergies, if in doubt, please remind the tour leader during mealtimes. Alternatively, ask the restaurant staff about the content of the dishes.

13. What time do you arrive in Madrid on your last day of travel? Can I book a flight on the same day, flying out of Spain?

Normally, we return to Madrid between 17.00 and 19.00 on the last day of the tour. However, it is not recommended to book the flight out on the same evening or night, as traffic jams in Madrid or other possible events may delay your arrival. Feel free to talk to us before starting the tour, and we'll organize your overnight stay in Madrid after the tour.

14. I need a night in the hotel or a transfer from or to the airport to be booked before or after the tour.

Sure. Just let us know at the time you organize it.

15. Can I just show up for the trip without a reservation and pay directly in the office, on the spot?

Unfortunately, not. The tour must be booked in advance, as we need to make all the arrangements beforehand.

16. How long in advance should I book a trip?

If you book at least 2 weeks in advance, the trip is guaranteed for you, though we recommend booking even earlier, if possible, as in these cases we have a wider range of hotels to accommodate the early reservations—better options.

17. Can I customize one of the tours for myself?

No, as there are more people traveling with you on the tour. However, if you represent an agency or the leader of a group of people, contact us; we'll take care of a private and customized tour for your party only.

18. What is the booking process?

It is simple. Once you have chosen the tour, there are six steps:

1. You confirm the tour by e-mail, indicating the starting date, tour code, number of persons traveling, and their names, as well as the types of rooms preferred (single, double, or triple).

2. We will send you an invoice.

3. You pay 10% to book the tour.

4. We issue the confirmation.

5. Three weeks before the starting date, you pay the rest of the money due, and

6. You show up for the tour on the appointed date and time.

19. How much should I pay and when?

We require a 10% deposit during reservation and the remaining 90% no less than 3 weeks before the tour commences.

20. How would I pay?

You can pay in one of four ways:

1. Bank wire to our company’s bank account. Our banking details are included on the invoice that you receive.

2. We can charge your credit card. Please keep in mind that, in this case, we charge an additional 2% on top of the amount (bank charges).

3. Transferwise.com is an online system allowing the transfer of funds. There is a small commission attached.

24. How do I know if I need a visa for Spain or Morocco?

- Please check the visa information for Spain here. The visa requirements for Morocco can be found here. Please note that all trips to Morocco will require your Schengen visa to be of an ''multiple entry'', as you will enter Spain for the second time.

25. I am ready to go ahead and book one of your tours, but I need a visa to enter Spain.

Yes, we do help our customers get their visas after a trip is confirmed. As we are a fully licensed tour operator in Spain, after the deposit is paid, we can issue a confirmation, which you can later bring to the Spanish Embassy or Consulate. In this letter, we confirm that you booked and partially (or fully) paid for a tour with us. Please note that we do not guarantee the issue of a visa and cannot influence the process. The decision is up to the Embassy, as they have their own rules and regulations for each country. At the same time, we do our best to ensure we provide assistance where possible.
