You can spend 11 hours finding out what the world HOT really means: chilli, bell peppers, tabasco and much more. If you are not a fan of spicy food don’t worry! You will also find soups and stews to stay warm. Enjoy dishes from various countries including Peru, India, Malaysia and Mexico.
If you have kids bring them along! There is an area for them to play as well as live music and street art. This event takes place at Nau Bostik on Saturday 11 of November and it starts at 12 pm.
This year will be the 23rd edition of Barcelona Manga Fair. This massive annual event will take place this year between 1st of November and 5th of November 2017 at the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc. It is expected to attract over 100,000 manga lovers. You will find food trucks, Japanese restaurants, cooking shows and workshops. The big stage will be the venue for the cosplay contests, the exhibitions of Asian dances, live music performances and many other activities. In addition to that there is conference room, a Nintendo videogame area and several exhibitions. You can also find workshops about kimono and the tea and mediation room. You can bring your kids along with you because there is a children’s area and a lot of people with cool costumes that they will with no doubt love.
If you love manga and the Japanese culture or if you are just curious you shouldn’t miss this event!
On the first of November, long before Halloween even existed, Catalans celebrated la castanyada, which comes from an ancient celebration that used to honor the dead. During this festivity you can eat castanyes, chestnuts in Catalan, as well as "panellets", a typical Catalan pastry done for this date. Panellets are small cakes in different shapes, normally round and made mainly of marzipan (almonds and sugar paste). They come from the 18th century and they were used as blessed food for religious celebrations. In addition to chestnuts and cakes the celebration consists in eating roasted boniatos (sweet potatoes) and drinking moscatell – a variety of sweet wine that comes from the muscatel ripe grapes.
In the more than ten years I have been developing groups for international travels, I must say that you have done the best tour for us than anyone! The hotels were very good, the guides were good to excellent, the buses arrangements worked out well, and the meals were always excellent with some unique experiences. Very Fun! Everyone on the tour has been talking about what a wonderful tour you provided. Most of us are getting together again on Sunday, April 8th to share experiences and photos, and have some fun reflecting on what a wonder tour you arranged.
Thanks again for all you did for us. I hope you have a great summer.
