This 10-day journey is a richly varied exploration of Andalusia and Morocco, blending iconic Spanish heritage with the vibrant culture of North Africa. Beginning in Madrid, the route heads south through the storybook landscapes of La Mancha to the historic cities of Córdoba and Seville, where Roman, Moorish, Jewish, and Christian influences have shaped some of Spain’s most extraordinary monuments. From there, the itinerary follows Andalusia’s scenic White Villages Route to the Costa del Sol before crossing the Strait of Gibraltar into Morocco - an unforgettable transition between two continents connected by centuries of shared history.

In Morocco, you’ll experience the country’s contrasting personalities: the coastal energy of Tangier, the refined elegance of Rabat, the modern Atlantic skyline of Casablanca, and the timeless spectacle of Marrakech’s medina and souks. After returning to Spain, the journey concludes with a finale of Moorish grandeur in Granada at the Alhambra, followed by the layered, medieval beauty of Toledo - Spain’s legendary City of Three Cultures.

Carefully balanced between guided sightseeing and free time, the tour offers a rewarding mix of cultural depth, scenic travel, and relaxed coastal moments. It’s ideal for travelers seeking a compact yet immersive itinerary that highlights the masterpieces of southern Spain and the unforgettable atmosphere of Morocco.

Day 1. Madrid → Córdoba → Seville (530 km | 329 miles)

We begin our journey early this morning, departing Madrid at approximately 8:00 a.m. and traveling south through the wide-open plains of La Mancha, a region closely associated with the landscapes of Don Quixote. As we leave the capital behind, the scenery gradually changes from urban surroundings to rolling farmland dotted with small towns and olive groves.
By midday, we arrive in Córdoba, one of Spain’s most historically rich and atmospheric cities. Once the capital of Moorish Spain, Córdoba reflects centuries of Roman, Islamic, Jewish, and Christian influence. Our guided visit introduces us to the city’s crown jewel, the extraordinary Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba. Inside, we walk beneath a mesmerizing forest of red-and-white arches—an architectural masterpiece found nowhere else in the world - before discovering the Christian cathedral that was later built at its heart. We continue with a walk through the Jewish Quarter (Judería), a charming maze of narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses, flower-filled patios, and small hidden squares that preserve the soul of medieval Córdoba.
In the late afternoon, we continue south to Seville, the vibrant capital of Andalusia. Dinner and overnight in Seville.

Day 2. Wednesday | Seville (local touring)

After breakfast, we set out on a guided tour of Seville, a city known for its elegance, passion, and rich artistic heritage. We begin at María Luisa Park, a lush green oasis filled with fountains, palm trees, and shaded walkways, before arriving at the magnificent Plaza de España. This sweeping semicircular square, built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, is one of Spain’s most iconic landmarks, adorned with bridges, canals, and colorful ceramic tiles representing the country’s provinces. Our tour continues with exterior views of Seville Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, and its iconic bell tower, the Giralda, originally constructed as a Moorish minaret. From here, we walk through the enchanting Barrio Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter, where narrow lanes, picturesque courtyards, and hidden plazas create a timeless, romantic atmosphere.
The afternoon is free. Optional activities include a scenic cruise along the Guadalquivir River with views of the Torre del Oro and Expo ’92 area, a visit to the historic Maestranza bullring, and - if you’d like - an optional evening flamenco performance for an authentic taste of Andalusian culture. Overnight in Seville.

Day 3. Thursday | Seville → Ronda → Costa del Sol (190 km | 118 miles)

After breakfast, we leave Seville and travel through the Andalusian countryside along the famous Route of the White Villages. Olive groves, rolling hills, and traditional hilltop towns accompany us as we make our way to Ronda, one of the most dramatic and visually striking towns in southern Spain. Dramatically perched above the deep El Tajo gorge, Ronda offers breathtaking views at every turn. During our free time, we explore the historic center, stroll through its elegant streets, and admire the iconic Puente Nuevo, the monumental stone bridge spanning the canyon and connecting the old and new parts of town.
In the afternoon, we continue south to the Costa del Sol, Spain’s famous Mediterranean coastline. Known for sandy beaches, lively resort towns, palm-lined promenades, and a relaxed seaside lifestyle, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Dinner and overnight on the Costa del Sol.

Day 4. Costa del Sol → Tangier → Rabat → Casablanca (560km|348mi, ferry)

We depart early this morning for Tarifa, the southernmost point of continental Europe—where Spain feels just a short distance from Africa. From here, we cross the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry, a quick but memorable ride linking two continents.
Upon arrival in Tangier, Morocco’s legendary white city and historic gateway, we take time to experience its lively atmosphere. We explore the port area and surrounding neighborhoods, and you’ll get your first taste of Morocco’s colors, aromas, and rhythms while browsing traditional souks and local streets.
We then continue to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, where we visit two of the country’s most important landmarks: the Hassan Tower, an unfinished 12th-century minaret, and the elegant Mausoleum of Mohammed V, guarded by ceremonial royal sentries.
After lunch, we travel onward to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic center. Dinner and overnight in Casablanca.

Day 5. Casablanca → Marrakech (245 km | 152 miles)

After breakfast, we enjoy a panoramic tour of Casablanca, a city that showcases Morocco’s modern side through wide boulevards, French-influenced architecture, and an Atlantic coastline setting. We stop outside the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, dramatically built above the ocean. (An interior visit may be available depending on scheduling.) Its scale, craftsmanship, and seaside location make it one of the country’s most striking landmarks.
We then travel inland to Marrakech, watching the landscape shift as we move away from the coast. Arriving in the afternoon, the rest of the day is free for your first introduction to the medina and the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square - alive with musicians, storytellers, food stalls, and street performers. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Day 6. Marrakech (local touring)

Today we dive into the sights and energy of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most iconic Imperial Cities. On a guided tour, we visit the elegant Bahia Palace, known for its beautifully decorated courtyards, intricate tilework, and carved wooden ceilings. We then explore the bustling souks, a maze of narrow lanes where traditional crafts are still part of daily life - spices, textiles, lanterns, leather goods, and artisan workshops create a colorful, sensory experience. We return to Jemaa el-Fna Square, where the mood changes throughout the day - from quiet morning cafés to an evening spectacle of food stalls, performers, and local life.
Lunch is included, followed by a free afternoon to continue exploring at your own pace. In the evening, you may optionally attend a traditional Fantasia dinner show at Chez Ali. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 7. Marrakech → Mohammedia → Tangier (578 km | 359 mi)

This morning, we say goodbye to Marrakech and begin our journey north through Morocco, traveling through a changing landscape that gradually shifts from inland plains and palm groves to coastal scenery. Along the way, we gain a deeper appreciation for Morocco’s geographic diversity as modern highways connect ancient cities, agricultural regions, and the Atlantic coast.
Our first stop is Mohammedia, a relaxed seaside town located just north of Casablanca. Formerly known as Fédala during the colonial period, Mohammedia has grown into an important port city while still maintaining a laid-back, coastal character. Here, we pause for a well-deserved break and enjoy free time for lunch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. With ocean breezes, seaside cafés, and views of the shoreline, it’s a perfect opportunity to relax, reflect, and recharge during the day’s journey.
After lunch, we continue north toward Tangier, following the coastline and approaching the northern tip of Africa. We arrive in the early evening, around sunset, when the light over the Strait of Gibraltar gives the city a magical glow. After checking in at the hotel, you may wish to take a gentle stroll along the seaside boulevard, enjoy views over the water toward Europe, or simply unwind after a full travel day. Dinner and overnight in Tangier.

Day 8. Tangier → Tarifa → Costa del Sol (186 km | 116 mi, ferry)

After breakfast, we head to the port of Tangier and prepare for our return crossing to Europe. We board the ferry and sail across the Strait of Gibraltar, a short yet unforgettable journey that links Africa and Europe - two continents separated by just a few miles of water but shaped by centuries of shared history and exchange.
On a clear day, you may catch sight of both the Moroccan and Spanish coastlines during the crossing, making this a fitting transition as we return to Spain. Upon arrival in Tarifa, the southernmost point of mainland Europe, we continue by coach along the coast to the Costa del SolKnown for its mild climate, palm-lined promenades, and relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, the Costa del Sol offers the perfect setting to slow down after several richly layered travel days. The rest of the day is at leisure - whether you choose to relax at the hotel, take a walk along the beachfront, or enjoy a coffee overlooking the sea. Dinner and overnight on the Costa del Sol.

Day 9 – Wednesday | Costa del Sol → Granada (180 km | 112 miles)

After breakfast, we leave the coast behind and travel inland through Andalusia toward Granada, a city where Moorish heritage and Spanish culture come together in one of Europe’s most dramatic settings. As we approach the city, the Sierra Nevada mountains rise in the background, framing Granada with striking natural beauty.
Upon arrival, we enjoy a guided visit to the extraordinary Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s most celebrated architectural treasures. Once the opulent residence of Nasrid sultans, the Alhambra is renowned for its intricate stucco carvings, elegant arches, tranquil courtyards, reflective pools, and flowing fountains—all designed to create harmony between architecture and nature. We also explore the Generalife Gardens, a former royal retreat featuring shaded pathways, terraces, and lush greenery, offering beautiful views back toward the palace complex and the city below. Dinner and overnight in Granada.
In the evening, those who wish may choose to visit the
Sacromonte caves for a traditional flamenco performance, where music and dance are deeply rooted in local Romani culture - an intimate and authentic way to experience Andalusia’s passion.

Day 10 – Thursday | Granada → Toledo → Madrid (446 km | 277 miles)

On our final day, we depart Granada and travel north toward Toledo, one of Spain’s most historically significant cities. Perched high above the Tagus River, Toledo once served as the imperial capital of Spain and is famously known as the City of Three Cultures, where Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities coexisted for centuries. Lunch is included, followed by a stop at the Valley Viewpoint, one of the most iconic panoramic photo stops in the country. From here, we take in sweeping views of Toledo’s dramatic skyline - towers, city walls, and monuments rising above the river below. We then enjoy a guided walking tour through Toledo’s atmospheric old town, navigating medieval streets and discovering historic synagogues, ancient churches, and centuries-old buildings that reveal the city’s layered past.
Later in the afternoon, we continue on to Madrid, where our journey comes to a close - leaving us with unforgettable memories of Morocco, Andalusia, and Spain’s timeless cities and landscapes.

Here you will find commonly asked questions regarding our tours.

1. Are the tours for individuals, families, or small groups of friends?

- Yes. Our tours are for single travelers, couples, families, and groups of friends whom we put together with other travelers to form a larger group.

2. How many people are normally included on a tour?

We cannot guarantee an exact number per tour. Normally, it ranges from 10 to 25 people per group, but these numbers can vary greatly depending on the time of year. In summer, groups tend to be larger as this is a popular time of year, while the winter season usually attracts fewer people, thus smaller groups are formed. There are certain tours that combine travelers if the destinations follow the same routes; e.g., you may be on a 10-day tour package with companions traveling on a 5-day package. The tour will cover the same areas, and the 5-day package guests will break off thereafter. Also, more people may be joining in for the other part of the package.

3. Is there a guide or tour leader on the bus?

- Yes. An accompanying guide (tour leader) always travels with the group during the entire tour. An exception may occur when there are minimal numbers signed up for a particular tour. These small groups will travel with an experienced, English-speaking driver-guide. In all major cities, we use local professionals and licensed guides.

4. What languages do the guides use?

English and Spanish. All our tour guides speak both languages fluently. If a tour group consists of an English-speaking group only, the tour will run in English. But most of the tours will have both English and Spanish (from Latin America and Central America) passengers, so the guides will explain in both languages.

5. Do your tours run during certain times of the year?

Most of our tours run all year. Some tours, e.g., those running to the northern regions of Spain, only run from March until October. Each tour's description provides all the relevant information needed. For example, ''Sundays all year'' means that a tour will start on every Sunday of the year, regardless of the numbers. Just look up the calendar for the specific dates Sundays are falling on, and make sure you arrive in Spain a day before.

6. What cities do the tours start from?

Tours start in Madrid or Barcelona.

7. Where are the meeting points for the tours?

In Madrid, it is Calle Ferraz 3 (Ferraz Str., 3). This meeting point is in the city center, right off Plaza España.

In Barcelona, it is in the reception of the Hotel ''Catalunya Barcelona 505'' (Carrer de Muntaner, 505, 08022, Barcelona).

8. Do you pick them up from the hotels on the first day of the tour?

By default, no. We do not pick up from hotels because that would delay the tour launch time. However, if your hotel is en route, using the same bus route on launch day, we will pick you up. A week before travel, we require the name of your hotel in Madrid and will inform you if you can be picked up directly from your hotel or need to head over to the meeting point at 7.45 a.m.

In Barcelona, the meeting point is always in the reception of the ''Catalunya Barcelona 505'' hotel.

9. What type of vehicles do you use?

We use buses for larger groups and minibuses for smaller ones. Vehicles are comfortable, modern, and equipped with air conditioning.

10. If there is Wi-Fi on your buses,?

There is Wi-Fi on all our buses in Spain and Portugal. But please keep in mind that sometimes during the transfers between the cities, the Wi-Fi signal can be weak or intermitting due to poor coverage from the main operators. Please do not expect very high Internet speed (to download or stream movies during the transfers).

11. Are meals included?

Buffet breakfasts with all the drinks are included every morning in all hotels our guests occupy during their tour.

Lunches and dinners are included anywhere that's mentioned in the itinerary (sections ''Itinerary'' and ''Included in Tour''). Normally, dinners are held in the hotel's restaurants, but many times they will be buffet (''eat as much as you want''), and only drinks will be at an extra cost. Also, sometimes lunches and dinners will be held in the restaurants.

12. If I am a vegetarian or allergic to certain products, is there any problem?

No problems at all. Inform the tour leader, and he will assist you. On a side note, many dinners are buffet-type, so you can simply choose what you prefer. For those with allergies, if in doubt, please remind the tour leader during mealtimes. Alternatively, ask the restaurant staff about the content of the dishes.

13. What time do you arrive in Madrid on your last day of travel? Can I book a flight on the same day, flying out of Spain?

Normally, we return to Madrid between 17.00 and 19.00 on the last day of the tour. However, it is not recommended to book the flight out on the same evening or night, as traffic jams in Madrid or other possible events may delay your arrival. Feel free to talk to us before starting the tour, and we'll organize your overnight stay in Madrid after the tour.

14. I need a night in the hotel or a transfer from or to the airport to be booked before or after the tour.

Sure. Just let us know at the time you organize it.

15. Can I just show up for the trip without a reservation and pay directly in the office, on the spot?

Unfortunately, not. The tour must be booked in advance, as we need to make all the arrangements beforehand.

16. How long in advance should I book a trip?

If you book at least 2 weeks in advance, the trip is guaranteed for you, though we recommend booking even earlier, if possible, as in these cases we have a wider range of hotels to accommodate the early reservations—better options.

17. Can I customize one of the tours for myself?

No, as there are more people traveling with you on the tour. However, if you represent an agency or the leader of a group of people, contact us; we'll take care of a private and customized tour for your party only.

18. What is the booking process?

It is simple. Once you have chosen the tour, there are six steps:

1. You confirm the tour by e-mail, indicating the starting date, tour code, number of persons traveling, and their names, as well as the types of rooms preferred (single, double, or triple).

2. We will send you an invoice.

3. You pay 10% to book the tour.

4. We issue the confirmation.

5. Three weeks before the starting date, you pay the rest of the money due, and

6. You show up for the tour on the appointed date and time.

19. How much should I pay and when?

We require a 10% deposit during reservation and the remaining 90% no less than 3 weeks before the tour commences.

20. How would I pay?

You can pay in one of four ways:

1. Bank wire to our company’s bank account. Our banking details are included on the invoice that you receive.

2. We can charge your credit card. Please keep in mind that, in this case, we charge an additional 2% on top of the amount (bank charges).

3. Transferwise.com is an online system allowing the transfer of funds. There is a small commission attached.

4. Western Union (normally for short-notice reservations and when the amount needs to be received urgently).

21. What is the cancellation and refund policy?

10% paid at the time of reservation is non-refundable. The other 90% is fully refundable if cancelled in no less than 2 weeks (e.g., if you paid 100% upfront, you get the whole amount right away). There are no refunds for cancellations made with less than 3 weeks to go before the trip.

22. Are there any discounts or surcharges?

Yes. Discounts are listed under the section ''Prices'', under each package.

23. Are taxes included in the tour prices?

Yes, VAT and tourist taxes for different cities are included.

24. How do I know if I need a visa for Spain or Morocco?

- Please check the visa information for Spain here. The visa requirements for Morocco can be found here. Please note that all trips to Morocco will require your Schengen visa to be of an ''multiple entry'', as you will enter Spain for the second time.

25. I am ready to go ahead and book one of your tours, but I need a visa to enter Spain.

Yes, we do help our customers get their visas after a trip is confirmed. As we are a fully licensed tour operator in Spain, after the deposit is paid, we can issue a confirmation, which you can later bring to the Spanish Embassy or Consulate. In this letter, we confirm that you booked and partially (or fully) paid for a tour with us. Please note that we do not guarantee the issue of a visa and cannot influence the process. The decision is up to the Embassy, as they have their own rules and regulations for each country. At the same time, we do our best to ensure we provide assistance where possible.
