Day 1 | Madrid → Mérida → Seville (540 km | 336 miles)
We begin our journey early this morning, departing Madrid around 8:00 a.m. and traveling west through the open landscapes of Extremadura, one of Spain’s least developed and most authentic regions. As we leave the capital behind, the scenery gradually opens into wide plains and farmland, offering a glimpse of rural Spain.
Our first stop is Mérida, a city founded by the Romans more than 2,000 years ago and one of the finest archaeological treasures in the country. Upon arrival, we enjoy free time to explore this remarkable open-air museum at our own pace. Highlights include the exceptionally preserved Roman Theatre and Amphitheater, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Walking among these ancient structures provides a fascinating look into Roman engineering, entertainment, and daily life. Lunch is on your own, with several cafés and restaurants nearby. In the afternoon, we continue south along the historic Silver Route, once used by Roman legions and traders, as we enter Andalusia.
By evening, we arrive in Seville, the region’s elegant and passionate capital. Dinner and overnight in Seville.
Day 2 | Seville (local touring)
After breakfast, we set out on a guided tour of Seville, one of Spain’s most atmospheric and culturally rich cities. We begin at María Luisa Park, a beautiful green oasis filled with palm trees, fountains, and shaded walkways. From here, we step into the impressive Plaza de España, a sweeping semicircular plaza built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition and adorned with bridges, canals, and colorful ceramic tiles representing Spain’s provinces. We continue with exterior views of Seville Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, and admire its iconic bell tower, the Giralda, originally built as a Moorish minaret. Our walk then takes us through the charming Barrio Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter, known for its narrow streets, hidden courtyards, whitewashed houses, and small shaded plazas. Lunch is on your own.
In the afternoon, you may relax or choose optional activities, such as a Guadalquivir River cruise with views of the Torre del Oro and Expo ’92 grounds, or a visit to the historic Maestranza bullring. In the evening, you may opt to attend a traditional flamenco performance, a powerful expression of Andalusian culture. Overnight in Seville.
Day 3 | Seville → Ronda → Costa del Sol (190 km | 118 miles)
After breakfast, we depart Seville and head south through the Andalusian countryside along the scenic White Villages Route. Passing rolling hills, olive groves, and traditional hilltop towns, we arrive in Ronda, one of the most dramatic locations in southern Spain. Perched high above the El Tajo gorge, Ronda offers breathtaking views at every turn. During our free time, we stroll through the historic center, admire the town’s elegant plazas, and take in spectacular views from the iconic Puente Nuevo, the monumental bridge spanning the canyon below.
Later in the day, we continue to the Costa del Sol, Spain’s famous Mediterranean coastline. Known for its sunny weather, palm-lined promenades, and relaxed seaside lifestyle, the coast offers a wonderful change of pace. Dinner and overnight on the Costa del Sol.
Day 4 | Costa del Sol → Tangier (230 km | 143 miles, ferry)
After breakfast, we travel to the port and board our ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar, making the unforgettable crossing from Europe to Africa. We arrive in Tangier, Morocco’s gateway city, where African, Arab, and European influences blend together. Upon arrival, we enjoy a panoramic tour of the surrounding area, including Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and viewpoints overlooking the legendary Caves of Hercules (entrance not included).
You’ll then have free time to explore Tangier on your own - wander through local markets, relax at a café, or soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. An optional excursion to Tetouan, known for its beautifully preserved medina, is also available. Dinner and overnight in Tangier.
Day 5 | Tangier → Volubilis → Meknes → Fez (350 km | 217 miles)
After breakfast, we journey inland through the Middle Atlas region, enjoying scenic views as the landscape changes from coastal hills to fertile plains.
Our first stop is Volubilis, Morocco’s most important Roman archaeological site. Here, we explore extensive ruins including well-preserved mosaics, the Decumanus Maximus (the main ancient road), and the impressive Arch of Caracalla, built in 217 AD.
We then continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial Cities and once its capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail. We visit El-Hedim Square, stroll through the medina, and admire the monumental Bab Al Mansour, considered one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Fez. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 | Fez (local touring)
After breakfast, we dedicate the entire day to discovering Fez, Morocco’s oldest Imperial City and long considered its spiritual, religious, and intellectual heart. Unlike other cities in the country, Fez has preserved its medieval character almost entirely, offering an authentic look at traditions that have endured for centuries. We begin with a panoramic overview of the city, stopping to admire the ornate Royal Palace gates (Dar Al-Makhzen), known for their massive brass doors and intricate tilework. From here, we gain a sense of Fez’s scale and importance before stepping into its historic core. Next, we enter the UNESCO-listed medina of Fez el-Bali, one of the largest and most fascinating car-free urban areas in the world. Passing through the iconic Bab Boujloud gate, we find ourselves immersed in a living maze of narrow alleys and passageways. As we walk toward Es-Seffarine Square, we encounter a wealth of sights and sounds: ancient madrasas (Islamic schools), neighborhood mosques, bustling food markets, spice vendors, copper workshops, pottery studios, and the famous leather tanneries, where traditional dyeing methods are still used today. This guided walk offers an unforgettable glimpse into daily life in Fez, where artisans continue to practice crafts passed down through generations. Lunch is included at a traditional local restaurant within the medina, allowing us to relax and enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine.
The afternoon is free to explore further on your own, return to favorite spots, enjoy a café, or simply unwind. Overnight in Fez.
Day 7 | Fez → Casablanca → Marrakech (545 km | 339 miles)
After breakfast, we depart Fez and travel southwest toward Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Modern and cosmopolitan, Casablanca presents a striking contrast to the historic medinas we’ve visited so far. Upon arrival, you’ll have free time for lunch, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a stroll along the Corniche, Casablanca’s oceanfront promenade. You may also choose to view the exterior of the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, dramatically positioned above the Atlantic Ocean with waves breaking below its foundations.
In the afternoon, we continue inland across the Moroccan countryside toward Marrakech, watching the landscape shift as palms and ochre-colored buildings begin to appear. We arrive in the evening, ready to settle in and enjoy dinner. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 8 | Marrakech (local touring)
After breakfast, we enjoy a comprehensive guided tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most energetic and visually striking Imperial Cities. Often called the “Red City” due to its rose-colored walls and buildings, Marrakech is a place of contrasts - elegant palaces alongside bustling markets and lively public squares. Our visit begins at the Koutoubia Mosque, whose iconic minaret dominates the city skyline and serves as a key landmark. We continue to the beautiful Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture featuring tranquil courtyards, carved ceilings, colorful tilework, and shaded gardens. We then pass through the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah) before arriving at the legendary Jemaa el-Fna Square, a UNESCO-recognized living cultural space and the beating heart of the city. Here, musicians, storytellers, dancers, snake charmers, and food vendors create a constantly changing spectacle that captures the essence of Marrakech. From the square, we delve into the souks, a fascinating network of narrow streets filled with spices, textiles, lanterns, leather goods, and artisan workshops. We also visit a traditional Berber pharmacy, where natural remedies and argan-based products are explained. Lunch is included at a traditional restaurant.
The afternoon is free for further exploration, shopping, relaxation, or enjoying the hotel amenities. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9 | Marrakech → Rabat (320 km | 199 miles)
After breakfast, we travel north to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital and royal residence. Compared to Marrakech’s vibrant energy, Rabat offers a calmer, more refined atmosphere, with wide boulevards, coastal breezes, and well-preserved historic sites. Upon arrival, we visit the Hassan Tower, an unfinished 12th-century minaret standing amid the remains of a monumental mosque complex. Nearby, we explore the elegant Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where the late king and his sons are entombed, guarded by ceremonial royal cavalry. We then stroll through the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a picturesque fortress-like district overlooking the Bouregreg River, with white-and-blue houses and peaceful gardens offering lovely views of the water. In the evening, enjoy panoramic views of the illuminated city before dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 10 | Rabat → Tangier → Costa del Sol (480 km | 298 miles, ferry)
After breakfast, we depart Rabat and travel north through the Moroccan countryside toward Tangier, once again making our way to the historic crossroads between Africa and Europe. Along the route, we pass coastal landscapes and rolling terrain, reflecting on the distinct rhythms and traditions experienced during our time in Morocco.
Upon arrival in Tangier, we head to the port to board our ferry for the crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar. This short but memorable journey offers scenic views across the narrow body of water that has connected (and separated) continents, cultures, and civilizations for centuries. On clear days, it’s possible to see both the African and European coastlines - a fitting moment of transition as we return to Spain.
Once we arrive on the European side, we continue by coach along the southern Spanish coast to the Costa del Sol. As North African landscapes give way to Mediterranean scenery, palm-lined roads and seaside towns signal our return to Andalusia. Dinner and overnight on the Costa del Sol, where we settle in for a relaxing evening.
Day 11 | Costa del Sol → Granada (180 km | 112 miles)
After breakfast, we leave the relaxed beach atmosphere of the Costa del Sol behind and travel inland through the heart of Andalusia. As the road gently climbs, views of the Sierra Nevada mountains begin to appear, announcing our arrival in one of southern Spain’s most historically rich and visually striking cities.
We arrive in Granada, a city where Moorish heritage and Spanish culture intertwine beautifully. Our visit focuses on the magnificent Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s most extraordinary architectural masterpieces. Once the opulent residence of Moorish kings, the Alhambra is renowned for its intricate stucco carvings, elegant arches, reflective pools, flowing fountains, and tranquil courtyards designed to evoke harmony and balance. We also explore the Generalife Gardens, a former royal retreat filled with lush greenery, terraces, and water features, offering stunning views of the palace complex and surrounding hills. Dinner and overnight in Granada.
In the evening, those who wish may attend an optional zambra flamenco performance in the Sacromonte caves, an intimate and authentic experience rooted in Granada’s Romani traditions.
Day 12 | Granada → Toledo → Madrid (446 km | 277 miles)
On the final day of our journey, we travel north toward Toledo, Spain’s former imperial capital and one of its most historically significant cities. Dramatically perched above the Tagus River, Toledo is celebrated as the City of Three Cultures, where Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities coexisted for centuries. Lunch is included, followed by a stop at the Valley Viewpoint, one of the best places to admire Toledo’s breathtaking skyline - an unforgettable panoramic scene of city walls, towers, and monuments rising above the river below. We then enjoy a guided walking tour through Toledo’s atmospheric old town, navigating medieval streets lined with historic synagogues, ancient churches, and centuries-old buildings that reveal the city’s layered past.
In the afternoon, we continue onward to Madrid, where our unforgettable journey through Spain and Morocco comes to a close - leaving us with rich memories of diverse cultures, remarkable architecture, and landscapes that span two continents.

Here you will find commonly asked questions regarding our tours.
1. Are the tours for individuals, families, or small groups of friends?
- Yes. Our tours are for single travelers, couples, families, and groups of friends whom we put together with other travelers to form a larger group.
2. How many people are normally included on a tour?
We cannot guarantee an exact number per tour. Normally, it ranges from 10 to 25 people per group, but these numbers can vary greatly depending on the time of year. In summer, groups tend to be larger as this is a popular time of year, while the winter season usually attracts fewer people, thus smaller groups are formed. There are certain tours that combine travelers if the destinations follow the same routes; e.g., you may be on a 10-day tour package with companions traveling on a 5-day package. The tour will cover the same areas, and the 5-day package guests will break off thereafter. Also, more people may be joining in for the other part of the package.
3. Is there a guide or tour leader on the bus?
- Yes. An accompanying guide (tour leader) always travels with the group during the entire tour. An exception may occur when there are minimal numbers signed up for a particular tour. These small groups will travel with an experienced, English-speaking driver-guide. In all major cities, we use local professionals and licensed guides.
4. What languages do the guides use?
English and Spanish. All our tour guides speak both languages fluently. If a tour group consists of an English-speaking group only, the tour will run in English. But most of the tours will have both English and Spanish (from Latin America and Central America) passengers, so the guides will explain in both languages.
5. Do your tours run during certain times of the year?
Most of our tours run all year. Some tours, e.g., those running to the northern regions of Spain, only run from March until October. Each tour's description provides all the relevant information needed. For example, ''Sundays all year'' means that a tour will start on every Sunday of the year, regardless of the numbers. Just look up the calendar for the specific dates Sundays are falling on, and make sure you arrive in Spain a day before.
6. What cities do the tours start from?
Tours start in Madrid or Barcelona.
7. Where are the meeting points for the tours?
In Madrid, it is Calle Ferraz 3 (Ferraz Str., 3). This meeting point is in the city center, right off Plaza España.
In Barcelona, it is in the reception of the Hotel ''Catalunya Barcelona 505'' (Carrer de Muntaner, 505, 08022, Barcelona).
8. Do you pick them up from the hotels on the first day of the tour?
By default, no. We do not pick up from hotels because that would delay the tour launch time. However, if your hotel is en route, using the same bus route on launch day, we will pick you up. A week before travel, we require the name of your hotel in Madrid and will inform you if you can be picked up directly from your hotel or need to head over to the meeting point at 7.45 a.m.
In Barcelona, the meeting point is always in the reception of the ''Catalunya Barcelona 505'' hotel.
9. What type of vehicles do you use?
We use buses for larger groups and minibuses for smaller ones. Vehicles are comfortable, modern, and equipped with air conditioning.
10. If there is Wi-Fi on your buses,?
There is Wi-Fi on all our buses in Spain and Portugal. But please keep in mind that sometimes during the transfers between the cities, the Wi-Fi signal can be weak or intermitting due to poor coverage from the main operators. Please do not expect very high Internet speed (to download or stream movies during the transfers).
11. Are meals included?
Buffet breakfasts with all the drinks are included every morning in all hotels our guests occupy during their tour.
Lunches and dinners are included anywhere that's mentioned in the itinerary (sections ''Itinerary'' and ''Included in Tour''). Normally, dinners are held in the hotel's restaurants, but many times they will be buffet (''eat as much as you want''), and only drinks will be at an extra cost. Also, sometimes lunches and dinners will be held in the restaurants.
12. If I am a vegetarian or allergic to certain products, is there any problem?
No problems at all. Inform the tour leader, and he will assist you. On a side note, many dinners are buffet-type, so you can simply choose what you prefer. For those with allergies, if in doubt, please remind the tour leader during mealtimes. Alternatively, ask the restaurant staff about the content of the dishes.
13. What time do you arrive in Madrid on your last day of travel? Can I book a flight on the same day, flying out of Spain?
Normally, we return to Madrid between 17.00 and 19.00 on the last day of the tour. However, it is not recommended to book the flight out on the same evening or night, as traffic jams in Madrid or other possible events may delay your arrival. Feel free to talk to us before starting the tour, and we'll organize your overnight stay in Madrid after the tour.
14. I need a night in the hotel or a transfer from or to the airport to be booked before or after the tour.
Sure. Just let us know at the time you organize it.
15. Can I just show up for the trip without a reservation and pay directly in the office, on the spot?
Unfortunately, not. The tour must be booked in advance, as we need to make all the arrangements beforehand.
16. How long in advance should I book a trip?
If you book at least 2 weeks in advance, the trip is guaranteed for you, though we recommend booking even earlier, if possible, as in these cases we have a wider range of hotels to accommodate the early reservations—better options.
17. Can I customize one of the tours for myself?
No, as there are more people traveling with you on the tour. However, if you represent an agency or the leader of a group of people, contact us; we'll take care of a private and customized tour for your party only.
18. What is the booking process?
It is simple. Once you have chosen the tour, there are six steps:
1. You confirm the tour by e-mail, indicating the starting date, tour code, number of persons traveling, and their names, as well as the types of rooms preferred (single, double, or triple).
2. We will send you an invoice.
3. You pay 10% to book the tour.
4. We issue the confirmation.
5. Three weeks before the starting date, you pay the rest of the money due, and
6. You show up for the tour on the appointed date and time.
19. How much should I pay and when?
We require a 10% deposit during reservation and the remaining 90% no less than 3 weeks before the tour commences.
20. How would I pay?
You can pay in one of four ways:
1. Bank wire to our company’s bank account. Our banking details are included on the invoice that you receive.
2. We can charge your credit card. Please keep in mind that, in this case, we charge an additional 2% on top of the amount (bank charges).
3. Transferwise.com is an online system allowing the transfer of funds. There is a small commission attached.
4. Western Union (normally for short-notice reservations and when the amount needs to be received urgently).
21. What is the cancellation and refund policy?
10% paid at the time of reservation is non-refundable. The other 90% is fully refundable if cancelled in no less than 2 weeks (e.g., if you paid 100% upfront, you get the whole amount right away). There are no refunds for cancellations made with less than 3 weeks to go before the trip.
22. Are there any discounts or surcharges?
Yes. Discounts are listed under the section ''Prices'', under each package.
23. Are taxes included in the tour prices?
Yes, VAT and tourist taxes for different cities are included.
24. How do I know if I need a visa for Spain or Morocco?
- Please check the visa information for Spain here. The visa requirements for Morocco can be found here. Please note that all trips to Morocco will require your Schengen visa to be of an ''multiple entry'', as you will enter Spain for the second time.
25. I am ready to go ahead and book one of your tours, but I need a visa to enter Spain.
Yes, we do help our customers get their visas after a trip is confirmed. As we are a fully licensed tour operator in Spain, after the deposit is paid, we can issue a confirmation, which you can later bring to the Spanish Embassy or Consulate. In this letter, we confirm that you booked and partially (or fully) paid for a tour with us. Please note that we do not guarantee the issue of a visa and cannot influence the process. The decision is up to the Embassy, as they have their own rules and regulations for each country. At the same time, we do our best to ensure we provide assistance where possible.
